Winter Operations Training Courses Delivered

MJ Airport Associates Ltd delivered numerous ‘Aerodrome Winter Operations’ training courses to aerodrome operations personnel to several UK aerodrome operators over the last quarter of 2024.

The training course content included aerodrome snow plan, runway surface condition assessment, measurement and reporting (ICAO global reporting format (GRF)), meteorological forecasts, preparation and implementation and dissemination of information.

The training course is intended to increase knowledge and understanding, as well as the confidence of operational personnel involved in winter operations ‘snow events’, improving an aerodrome operator’s winter resilience.
